
Fulham Football Club is currently the oldest professional football club in London – the beginning was the year 1879. It was then established as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School by the followers of the Church of England from Kensington. A few years later the club played his first match in the competition the London FA Cup and the following season won the West London Cup. In December 1888 the club changed its name to Fulham Football Club, which is used until today.
