The restaurant opened in 1995. Head of the restaurant from the beginning of its activity is Brett Graham. The first Michelin star restaurant received a year after opening, the second in 2010. It also has many other great ratings.
The Ledbury received in recent years such awards as: the Michelin Guide 2014 – Two Michelin Stars, All In London Ultimate London Restaurant – 2012, 2013, & 2014 San Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants 2015, Observer Food Monthly Awards 2014 – Best Restaurant in the UK, Restaurant Magazine National Restaurant Awards – Best UK Restaurant 2010, 2011 & 2012.
The menu includes specialties such as Chantilly of Oyster Tartare of Sea Bream and Frozen Wasabi, Cornish turbot, Asparagus, Green Olive and Cream of Anchovy, Green Beans, Fresh Almonds and Apricot, Berkshire Muntjac, Beetroot, Cherries, Red Leaves and Pickled Wild Rose, for dessert you can order Pavé of Chocolate, Cherry Jam and Sake. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings the restaurant only serves dishes from their Tasting Menu. On other days you can reserve a table for lunch or dinner.
