Ye Olde Mitre is located on the premises, which since 1546 was intended for the servants of the bishops of Ely. In the past, the pub was a part of Cambridge. In particular it is renowned for its cherry tree, which now can be seen at the entrance – it is said that the Queen Elizabeth was dancing here with Sir Christopher Hatton. Currently, Ye Olde Mitre is a traditional pub with a warm and lively atmosphere. The classic decor enhances the effect – in the interior you can see multiple photos, mugs of beer, old wooden furniture, a fireplace and other decorations.

In Ye Olde Mitre you can enjoy only the best quality beer. Every year, three times great beer festivals are held here, during which you can try drinks from around the world, as well as classic favorite drinks that never get old. It serves real ales on tap, of which a minimum of three are guests ones, that come from different regions of the country. Also, here you can have a real cider. Ye Olde Mitre's also is a great place to organize different events depending on your plans. For rent are the Bishop's Room located on the first floor, which holds up to 30 people, as well as The Snug, which is situated on the ground floor and holds up to 8-10 people. They are perfect for a birthday party and other meetings with beer and snacks.
